Yulene Olaizola

Director, editor and producer. She stuided at CCC in Mexico City. She won several prizes for her debut feature film Intimidades de Shakespeare y Víctor Hugo. The film was chosen to compete in L'atellier's Cinefondation, project destined to help filmmakers, making it easir for them to find producers, funding and get into Cannes. Her film, Fogo, is the result of the her residence at Fogo Island Arts Corporation, in Newfounland, Canada. It was part of the official selection at Morelia Film Festival and it was also part of the Director's Fortnight at Cannes. She founded her own producing company, Malacosa cine, algonside Rubén Imaz. She is member of the Procione consulting comitee (2018).
