Biografie
Malaysian writer and filmmaker Dain Iskandar Said graduates in film and photography from the University of Westminster in London. On his return to Malaysia, he directs commercials before moving into experimental work. His media installations notably are screened at the Biennale of Sydney and, in 2006, he is the recipient of the Nippon Foundation's Asian Public Intellectuals Fellowship. The same year, he signs his first feature, Dukun, followed by Return to Murder in 2012, which premières at the Toronto International Film Festival.
