Biografie
Born in Moldova in the former USSR in 1972, Oleg Mutu moved to Romania in 1993, where he trained at the Academy of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Oleg worked with Cristi Pulu on the award-winning short Cigarettes and Coffee in 2004 and shot to international attention the following year with the same director on The Death of Mister Lazarescu, which won the Prix Un Certain Regard at Cannes. Oleg worked with Cristian Mungiu as a producer as well as a cinematographer on 4 Months, 3 Weeks And 2 Days, which won the Palme D'Or in 2007, and the portmanteau Tales from the Golden Age, which premiered at Cannes in 2009.
