Gerard-Jan CLAES and Olivia Rochette were educated in film at KASK (Royal Academy of Fine Arts) in Ghent, Belgium. They have been making films together since 2007. Their second film Metro received an honourable mention at the International Short Film Festival Leuven in 2008. In 2009 Olivia and Gerard-Jan made a making-of for the feature film My Queen Karo (2009, Dorothee van den Berghe). More recently they have started making feature length films, among them Rain (2011) and Grand travaux (2017).
