Øystein F. Rakkenes is an experienced journalist, author and filmmaker. He has worked at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation NRK since 1988, and has been the director and co-director of several documentaries on political and human rights issues.
His films include Three days for Tibet (1998), the award-winning In Gandhi’s Footsteps (2006) and Brothers at War (2010). Rakkenes has also published four books since 2001, including "The land by the Ocean" (2001) and "amaZulu – The People of the Heavens" (2003).
