Timo Koivusalo

Timo Koivusalo (1963) is a Finnish screenwriter, director, producer and actor. He has made more than a dozen feature films in various genres, for which he's won many awards in Finland. He established himself with a series of five films centered on the protagonist Pekko Aikamiespoikou (1993 - 1997). From the rest of his works we'll mention the films The Rose of the Rasca (Rentun ruusu, 2001), Sibelius (2003), The Leaning Tower (Kalteva torni, 2006), and Under the North Star I-II (Täällä pohjantähden alla, 2009 - 2010).
