Roland Pickup was born in Chester, England in 1940. He attended the King’s School, followed by Leeds University and then spent two years in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. His first professional job after graduating from RADA was a small part in DR. WHO. His stage debut was at Leicester Rep in 1964. Ronald’s first London appearance was on the stage of the Royal Court Theatre in a production of Julius Caesar, directed by Lindsay Anderson. There soon… (meer)
