Santiago Fillol

He got a PhD at Barcelona’s Pompeu Fabra University. He presented his feature Ich bin Enric Marco (2009) at the Locarno and San Sebastian Film Festivals, among others. He is the author of the book "Historias de la desaparición" (Shangrila Ediciones), and screenwriter of Oliver Laxe’s works Mimosas (first prize at the Critics’ Week, Cannes 2016) and Fire Will Come (Un Certain Regard Jury Prize, Cannes 2019).
