Ahmed Abdullahi

Ahmed Abdullahi was born in Somalia and grew up in Umeå, Sweden. After first studying film at Sundbyberg People's High School, he was admitted in 2012 to study direction at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating in 2015. His short film Proposition (2014) won the prize for best script at the festival in Stockholm. He co-directed the documentary I Am Dublin (2015), screened at numerous international festivals, Prague's One World included.
