Harry Macqueen trained as an actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London before turning to filmmaking. His acting credits include Me and Orson Welles (Richard Linklater, 2008), Provenance (Ben Hecking, 2017), which earned him Best Supporting Actor at Madrid Film Festival, and the British TV show Eastenders. His first feature film as a writer, director and producer was Hinterland (2014). The film was nominated for Best British Feature at the Raindance Film Festival in London and Best Debut Film at Beijing Festival. Supernova is his second feature film.
