Biografie

Václav Chaloupek (1949) is a Czech screenwriter and TV director. He graduated in education and has worked for many years with animals, which brought him to film. His work is connected with TV, for which he has made many popular shows for children. He's used animal leads for the series Little Wanderer (Tuláček, 1997), Boys from Chateau (Kluci ze zámku, 2000), Bears (Méďové, 2001), Vydrýsek (2002), Little Brothers (Bráškové, 2003), Madla and Ťap (Madla a Ťap, 2006), and Fairy Tales for Puppies (Pohádky pro štěnátka, 2010). He's also made hundreds of TV reportages and natural history documentaries.
