Marek Piwowski

Marek Piwowski (1935) is a screenwriter, director and actor. He studied journalism at the University of Warsaw and film directing at film school in Lodz. He worked briefly as a reporter. He made his debut with the feature comedy A Trip Down the River (Rejs, 1970), and also made the feature film Excuse Me, Is It Here They Beat Up People? (Przepraszam, czy tu biją?, 1976), Hijacking of Agata (Uprowadzenie Agaty, 1993), and the TV movie Oskar (2005). He's also directed short documentaries and TV adaptations.
