Orange Is the New Black - (Don't) Say Anything (2016) (aflevering)

Engels This time, the pace of the story slightly slowed down and the episode took me back in time to the previous season. There was a lot of talking, but rather small, insignificant matters were being addressed. The storyline, which promised some tension and thickening of the atmosphere, practically disappeared, and even the humor decreased.

Orange Is the New Black - Power Suit (2016) (aflevering)

Engels The second episode seemed to me to be half a star weaker than the previous episode, but it still had a solid level. True, I didn't particularly like the main character of the series, but I admit that I enjoy it when they float on their cloud of false self-confidence. I laughed, unlike in the third season, I also noticed a functional dramatic storyline, so I rate it as 4*-.

Orange Is the New Black - Work That Body for Me (2016) (aflevering)

Engels The fourth season didn't start bad at all, compared to the beginning of the previous series there was a big improvement. I didn't have to fight boredom because I accepted that the creators turned the American prison system into absolute absurdistan and I had a very good time.

Orange Is the New Black - Trust No Bitch (2015) (aflevering)

Engels Although the final episode seemed too long to me again, it was one of the most successful episodes of the third season (sadly, it probably isn't even a compliment). As usual, Joe Caputo took care of the entertainment for me, but I was also amused by the godfather and the culmination of the dissatisfaction of the guards. 4*

Orange Is the New Black - Don't Make Me Come Back There (2015) (aflevering)

Engels The twelfth episode didn't bore me in any way, but on the other hand, it didn't really impress me either. The creators managed to add humor to the plot, and they also tried to play a more serious note, but in previous seasons, they clearly showed that they can do it better. I don't know if they noticed, but somehow they lost the element of tension in the series.

Orange Is the New Black - We Can Be Heroes (2015) (aflevering)

Engels As far as humor is concerned, Joe Caputo is at the top for me, I can guarantee that I will have a good time with him. The plot of the series takes place in a prison, yet the eleventh episode was mainly dedicated to the establishment of labor unions, whether it was about guards or illegal sales to fetishists. There was plenty to laugh about, but it still maintains a serious tone. 3*+

Orange Is the New Black - A Tittin' and a Hairin' (2015) (aflevering)

Engels I have decided to add half a star to my rating, despite my concerns, as there was a slight improvement in the tenth episode. The creators once again managed to slightly increase the humor, but more importantly, I noticed several flashes that could indicate the possibility of solid drama. 3*+

Orange Is the New Black - Where My Dreidel At (2015) (aflevering)

Engels I have the impression that the third season reached its peak with the seventh episode, and now the quality is decreasing again with each subsequent episode. Hopefully, I am mistaken and there will be further improvement, but this time nothing special happened and the story deserves some revitalization, otherwise my rating will drop again.

Orange Is the New Black - Fear, and Other Smells (2015) (aflevering)

Engels The eighth episode continued in the same vein as the previous one, although it is true that the humor was slightly reduced this time, so I deducted half a star. It's a shame that part of the plot was again slightly uninteresting, because it marred the more successful aspects (the MCC management meeting, Tiffany's outings with Coates, Suzanne's literary success). 3*

Orange Is the New Black - Tongue-Tied (2015) (aflevering)

Engels Finally, in the third row, I got to watch an episode where boredom didn't try to touch me. The creators once again saved a good dramatic storyline, but they made up for it with a more nourishing dose of humor. I enjoyed the new business venture as well as Suzanne's literary debut. However, it was Joe Caputo and his new "recruits" who made me laugh the most.
