Brooklyn Nine-Nine - The Mattress (2015) (aflevering)
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Into the Woods (2015) (aflevering)
Objectively, I would say that the sixth episode was not worth more than three stars. But I am rarely objective, so in this case, I let Sergeant Terry Jeffords convince me to add a bonus piece. // "It's really nice how they love each other." "It's an advertisement. For a fridge." // "I found where the worms are coming from, they're eating a dead fox in the toilet." // "Where is Jake? Did you eat him, Terry?!"
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - The Oolong Slayer (2015) (aflevering)
The creators evidently quickly recovered from a very bad start and have been delivering only quality material since the second episode. I wanted to give this episode four stars, just like the previous two, but the snacking Sergeant Terry Jeffords convinced me to reconsider my decision. // "Where is Braxton O'Reilly, that disgusting monster?!" "The truth shall set you free..." "Sincere condolences."
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Boyle's Hunch (2015) (aflevering)
The third episode matched the quality of the previous installment, so I could relax and calmly watch how Charlie tries to save his kindred soul, how Captain Holt tries to restore the tarnished image of the police, and how Rosa attempts to solve the tricky case of the missing ice cream. // "It suits your back!" / "You're late today, Boyle, where were you?" "I cursed my shadow for being with such a loser."
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - The Funeral (2015) (aflevering)
Phew, I'm relieved...The initial fiasco apparently caused the author of the script to be on some unauthorized substance, the second episode was already a pleasant standard. Now I can only hope that everything will continue in a similar style. // "I'm horrified, and not by you." / "So, you were the one bringing those prostitutes there?" "Ooohhh...."
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - New Captain (2015) (aflevering)
Although I quite like Bill Hader under normal circumstances, his captain Dozerman was an absolute disaster for me. I don't understand why the creators decided to go for a straightforward/awkward humor, I firmly believe that everything will return to the right track, this was a mistake. 2* - "Wow, it just occurred to me that I won't be able to tell him to his face anymore. At most, to his wife at the funeral, but that's not the same."
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Season 2 (2014) (Seizoen)
My review of the second season could be worded in exactly the same way as the first one. Again, there were several weird drops in quality, for which I cannot give five stars. Favorite characters: Captain Holt, Rosa Diaz, Lieutenant Terry Jeffords and Charles Boyd.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Johnny and Dora (2015) (aflevering)
The finale of the second season was successful, pleasantly continuing the previous episodes. I enjoyed watching the formation of the team (Jake, Amy, Rosa, and Charles), and the captain's battle against the transfer was also worth it. // "Goodies for free!" / "Give me Madeline and a bucket of water. It's time to cook the witch." / "What the hell is this?" / "Sorry, I guess I got emotional."
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - The Chopper (2015) (aflevering)
Well, this, it's still unexpectedly going well. Both parts of the episode entertained me a lot, the effort to catch the killer (and get the loot) with Captain Holt's involvement was excellent, but the school field trip was no worse. This was successful. // "For someone, Latin is a dead language, but I say it just took a long nap." / "We'll destroy that bastard, unless he's innocent, then we'll save him."
Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Det. Dave Majors (2015) (aflevering)
What joy, what happiness! Episode twenty-one turned out well for the creators. Rosina's pink shirt nicely kicked off the plot, the subplot with the celebrity detective (the Keyring Club wrote) and Sergeant Jeffords' matchmaking worked very well too. // "Doesn't she have a twin?" "If Rosa had a twin, she would have eaten them in the womb." / "Gino, you left your phone on the table, I was scared that you were dead."
