In December 1998, Nils Oliveto and his father Joseph travelled to Rome for the Christmas holidays. It was the last time Nils saw or heard from his father, who vanished from the face of the Earth. Almost two decades later, the mystery of Joseph's disappearance remained, although there were indications that he might be living in Iceland.
