A humble, focused study of the awakening and decay of one social layer. Masterfully acted, good sound and, after an uncertain introduction, also very captivating. Marcelo Martinessi is a remarkable talent who is interestingly establishing himself somewhere between Lucretia Martel and Kleber Mendonça Filho. In the end, his first film has the most in common with his Aquarium, a study of the intimate life of an aging woman in a crumbling mansion...
