Mexican actress and singer Diana Mariscal reached a moment of fame in the distant 60s, when her peculiar style that mixed innocence and style in a fascinating manner lead her to play in various musical hits of the time and to star, when only 18 years old, in the first feature film by controversial artist Alejandro Jodorowsky, Fando and Lis (1968). That moment seemed to be Diana’s real career take-off, but life would bring about a different fate, and her public image would remain thereafter submerged in a profound and unfathomable mystery that would gradually dilute her presence, until condemning her practically to oblivion.
