Naked Heartland

Jan is being bullied. Ann, raised under a strict regime at home, finds escape in her own imaginary dream world. And then there is Rob, whose difficulties with the acceptance of his sexuality are emphasised by his upbringing in a vulnerable environment. Social media is the only platform where they share their emotions, desires, doubts and insecurities. Once they get on the bus to a long-awaited event, they are surrounded by lost, isolated and like-minded peers, all with sexual desires and frustrations – afraid to leave their childhood and fearful of becoming adults.
