A look back, at the two faces of what a married woman is and what she can be. First, with the unusual Margarita y el lobo, a cult film that escaped notice in Francoist Spain, possibly because it was Cecilia Bartolomé's graduation piece at Film School (and surprisingly her first film). The tribulations of a woman who wants to get divorced, with all the obstacles that the society of the time imposed, in a comedy that is both fresh and incisive. On the other side we have Motu Maeva, an elusive, bewitching portrait of an adventuress who travelled Africa in the 50s and 60s, constructed from the travel diaries on Super 8 of this woman, surprisingly married on equal footing, in an extreme close-up light years from her husband.
