SS-GB (2017)
I was satisfied with the series in the end, even though the creators tried to put me off in the first two episodes. But then the story got going and I had a great time watching a quality spy drama. The character of Doug Archer had a film noir vibe, the exhumation of Karl Marx was an idea worthy of Monty Python and I was intrigued by who was sacrificed for the country to save face. I was just disappointed with the way SS Sturmbannführer Huth wore his Ritterkreuz. That was shamefully sloppy. ()
Episode 1 (2017) (E01)
I love alternate history, so I was excited for this series, but the first episode really let me down. I expected the creators to come up with something more intriguing. Hopefully, the next episodes will be better because this one felt pretty bland and uninspired. ()
Episode 4 (2017) (E04)
With the involvement of the resistance movement, the series is slowly turning into a gripping spy drama. I'm really curious to see how it all ends. I’m glad I didn’t let the weaker start put me off, because now I’m really enjoying it. ()
