Aloys Adorn is een privé-detective van middelbare leeftijd die met zijn vader samenwerkt en -woont. Hij bekijkt het leven op veilige afstand, door de lens van een videocamera en het obsessief bekijken en ordenen van een immense hoeveelheid surveillance-tapes die hij in hun woning heeft liggen. Dan overlijdt vader en Aloys blijft alleen achter. Zijn beschermde bestaan begint barsten te vertonen. (Contact Film)

Aloys has a very sad life. But he was lucky that Tobias Nölle decided to film it. When it comes to the audio and video, the film is flawless. As usual, the first part of the film starts in a decently entertaining way, just so it can then turn in a more serious direction and try to convey a message. Unfortunately, the conclusion just faded into the void for me, so there is nothing left for me but to remember the first half of the film and rather not think about the second half. One of those films where the form outweighed the theme.
