When Detective Ben Walls wakes up in a nearly empty hospital, he begins to discover that things are not quite what they seem. Haunted by dark shadows, Ben soon realizes that his life will never be the same. His journey leads him across the path of a zealot named Daniel Donner who can turn even the strongest of men into his disciples. Ben escapes Daniel's grasp and flees further into the hospital. The more time Ben spends in the hospital the further he begins to explore his own internal relationships with doubt. To compound the issue, Ben sees dark shadow type people moving throughout the hospital. They eventually lead Ben into the chapel where he faces them and his reality. This almost looked like it could be quite an interesting sci-fi. But in the end, it's just a bad movie with a pretty good idea, but it wasn't used for anything substantial. It doesn't necessarily offend, but in my case it didn't even get me excited. After half an hour I felt that I had seen too many faces and that something else was needed.
