A battle of (desperate) wives that was apt, well timed and perfectly to the point. At the same time, it's a great showcase of influence and power through position, status and, of course, money.

Alongside Paul Giamatti's stellar performance, Malin Akerman really stood out. I only knew her from a few average comedies, but her portrayal of Lara as a perfectly cold-hearted bitch was fantastic. The story had great pacing this time, and I was thoroughly entertained.
