A film memoir that tells how the village Buchak (Cherkasy region) became a kind of Hollywood on the Dnieper in the 1950s-1970s. The village and its surroundings served as a film location for classic films - Illienko's Night Before Ivana Kupala, Paradzhanov's Ukrainian Rhapsody, Denysenko's Dream, Rasheuev's and Narodytsky's Bumbarash, Tarkovsky's Ivan's Childhood, Poem of the Sea directed by Solntseva and written by Dovzhenko etc. Larysa Kadochnikova, Oleksandr Denysenko, Mykhaylo Illienko, Nikolay Burliayev, Rayisa Nedashkivska, Anatoliy Barchuk, Serhii Bukovsky, Mykola Rasheiev, Serhii Brzhestovsky, Mykhaylo Tkachuk and others speak about filming of some little-known episodes.
