It may surprise someone, but even for westerns, people who can act are needed. This did not happen in the case of the 2013 film "Billy the Kid". It is a group of non-actors who want to play in a western, but it doesn't work very well for them because there is neither the necessary dirty, dusty atmosphere. The actors speak as if they had met somewhere in a restaurant in Manhattan, where they probably also bought those really terrible costumes. Horror and boredom. Horrible boredom. How is it that even westerns are boring now?
