Wanneer de 38-jarige vader Conor een beroerte krijgt die zijn persoonlijkheid totaal verandert, ziet zijn vrouw Vanetia haar leven veranderen op een manier die ze nooit voor mogelijk had gehouden. I like the Irish and their stories a lot. I like the melancholic atmosphere that’s something between Great Britain and Iceland. I also like their distinguished humor and the serious stories they try to tell in interesting ways. That’s exactly what this movie – Run & Jump – is like. Sharon Horgan had an absolutely perfect character development in the movie and I was really amazed by how well she handled it all. Thanks to the shock therapy and the ending, this movie let me know that you can do anything, you just have to keep fighting and accept the things that are already set in stone.
