Made for the industrial giant Mannesmann, this hymn to Brazil was composed in an aesthetic derived entirely from the syncretic spirit of the country and its culture(s). Much of the film is devoted to that architectural manifesto of a city which encapsulates better than almost anything else the positivist motto carried by the national flag (Ordem e Progresso): the capital Brasília.
