The episode dialed back on Elizabeth's ruthless nature a bit — those three dead bodies in the pitch-black darkness were barely noticeable. This episode finally felt like the The Americans I used to love. Still, I'm hesitant to rate it higher, fearing it might just be a one-off improvement.
