Made with characteristic haste and second-rate actors under the auspices of Hollywood’s factory of trashy dreams, Cannon Films, Number One with a Bullet is a highly generic variation on the buddy movies of the 1980s, of which 48 Hours and Lethal Weapon are the best examples.
