This is surprisingly advanced for a student film, with a perfect visual concept that perfectly captures the horror atmosphere of intolerance, fear, and hatred. The tension in the town demands a sacrificial lamb and things somewhat spiral out of control. The apocalyptic bloody ending is a perfect climax to this horror short film. Overall impression: 95%. ()
A film dominated by excellent graphic processing, which largely creates an atmosphere that is truly both western and horror. I've been looking for a western horror movie worth watching for a long time. It turns out that The Backwater Gospel could be one of those. But the fact remains that I'm still more interested in a full-length execution of such a combination. ()
