A delightful romantic comedy that features two really interesting actors from the Scandinavian scene. Dejan Cukic, originally from Montenegro, plays a Dane and speaks Danish fluently, while Tuva Novotny, a Swedish-Czech actress, lights up the screen with her charm. What’s fun is that despite the characters' nationalities, there’s a scene where they hilariously insult each other—him as a "stupid Dane" and her as a "crazy Swede." It’s these little moments that made the film so enjoyable to watch, especially because Tuva Novotny is just fantastic. She’s an actress more people should notice, as she always brings grace and beauty to her roles. This movie fits her perfectly. The story is simple, but it works, and honestly, I found it more engaging than many of the usual rom-coms from Hollywood that tend to recycle the same formula. While it doesn't reinvent the genre, it’s sweet, charming, and has a unique touch by the end that made it stand out. (09.07.2012)
