The fifth episode hit the spot for me. The family dinner (or rather the preparation for the family dinner) was very enjoyable, and dissecting the reasons for each couple's delay was great. I can't help it, but I'm still most impressed by Ed O'Neill's acting performance; his Jay is the top character in the series for me. // "Luke, what did I tell you about rocking on the chair?" "I don't know? Stop?" / "Wow, that was pretty advanced." "Yeah, I've aged a lot during the time your mother dresses up."
