Let's recap: Pirelli tires are great at braking. But why can't Kathryn Bigelow, a director with really big balls, come up with a really good idea of her own? With none of her own invention, why does she copy what Dominic Sena (Gone in Sixty Seconds) or Joe Carnahan (The Hire: Ticker) have made before? This film amounts to a painful nine minutes of filmmaking plagiarism that also loses when it comes to the marketing. More than tires, you'll enjoy the Yellow Devil and Uma Thurman. If I were the head of the advertising department at Pirelli, I would demand reimbursement from the filmmakers and voluntarily resign.

When I’m rich, I’ll buy myself a Lamborghini, but not with Pirelli tires - want to know why? Because if they’re willing to spend so much money on promotion, logically the money must be lacking in actual tire production. = More money for advertising, less money for manufacturing.
