Een jong meisje klaagt haar vader aan voor seksueel misbruik. De vader en moeder zijn erdoor geschokt en het is vanaf het begin duidelijk dat het heel moeilijk wordt voor deze familie ooit weer gezamenlijk door het leven te gaan. Running into a Scandinavian movie is for me what founding a Bible on the ground is for a religious person. I like the precision with which the psychology of the characters is captured, but also the quality of the acting performances. This movie had all that, which is what I’d expected. What I hadn’t expected though was that this movie would be bereft of emotions. I actually spent an hour and a half watching the problems of a family that I actually didn’t care about at all. That’s not completely alright, is it?
