Samenvattingen(1)
Mr. Virág, chief accountant with the Milkó tinned food factory, has an argument one day with Milkó Pál, who is patronised by the director, his uncle. Milkó slaps the elderly man on the face, who, deeply offended, quits his job. Milkó, in order to make good his misdemeanour, and to give some financial support to the Virág family, decides to rent a room they let out, carefully avoiding any encounter with Mr. Virág. Milkó and the family are soon on friendly terms, and, as to Baba, their beautiful daughter, it is love at first sight for Milkó. The dénouement is Milkó's apology to Virág, which is, at the same time, a proposal conveyed through the father to his daughter. (officiële tekst van distribiteur)
