Samenvattingen(1)
n Józsefváros, a district of Budapest, a Gypsy musician dies. His teenaged daughter Rita is talented at playing the piano, while 19-year-old Romeo, even by his father, was only considered good enough for some „little drumming". After the burial, the brother-in-law, the treacherous Dodi appears: He wants Rita to be instructed, while as for Romeo, he would employ him in his new revue bar. The mother's forebodings prove true: they want Romeo to act as a drug delivery boy. The Chinese and the Roma maffias of the district get engaged in a fight, also involving Romeo. Dodi's thug Pelé works already for a bigger master. After Dodi's bodyguard is killed, Dodi himself must die, who, with his last wish, involuntarily causes Rita's death. Now the Chinese maffia rules over the district. Romeo, along with his Chinese lover Mai-Lien, and in the company of Gypsy musicians, sets out for Paris. (InterCom)
