The Elephant Whisperers is a sweetly filmed excursion into the lives of Bomman, Bellie and their elephant "children". At first, the film had a bit of an amateurish feel to it, but that quickly faded as I watched it, and I witnessed a portrayal of the beautiful bond between elephant and man. Alongside the elephant line, you also learn something about the life of the keepers and the motivation behind their work, so the film doesn't feel so monotonous.
