F.(ilmová) Šestka. This was a name for a group of filmmakers based at Zlín's Baťa Film Studios, among whom were directors Elmar Klos and Alexander Hackenschmied. The group was one of the founders and pioneers of Czech commercial film. While hiring first-rate film and theatre actors, they made commercial films for Bata's factories based on their own ideas and scenarios, promoting a wide range of products. The group also made short, promotional and cultural films. Before the start of WWII the group was dissolved. (Zlín Film Festival)
