Just like Bambino, whose life was too short and at the same time too intense for the idol of a country which woke up after dawn after endless and wild parties. Like Morente or Camarón, Bambino was at the time the last frontier of flamenco, which he rescued and brought closer to large audiences: an artist of artists, an idol in roadside bars, a kind of Lorca singing bulerías whose inimitable style, irresistible stage magnetism and heartbreaking personality are already part of the myth: a king without a kingdom, a music giant of the 20th century.
