Ode to Nature invites us to take stock and form an opinion at the end of the UN Decade of Biological Diversity. It is a visually stunning journey through the nature of Germany, from the mountains and alpine pastures to the coasts and the depths of the North and Baltic Seas. The film leaves the viewer with enchanting and surprising views of our own environment and with the realization that it is not too late to preserve and restore our natural world. The Anthropocene, the age of man, does not have to end in catastrophe. Nor does it have to lead to an inexorable loss of habitats and species. (Ekofilm)
