Biografie

Musician, poet and multifaceted actor, he has created a lovable character who is none other than himself. With his band Baccarat, he released memorable albums such as Por el mundo (1999) and En castellano...! (2003). He starred in the film El artista (Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, 2008), acted in others such as Vaquero (Juan Minujín, 2011) and Como funcionan casi todas las cosas (Fernando Salem, 2015), and appeared as himself in Gran orquesta (Peri Azar, 2019) and Moacir y yo (Tomás Lipgot, 2021). In 2010 he won the Cóndor de Plata award and the Sur award from the Argentine Academy of Cinematography Arts and Sciences for the soundtrack of El hombre de al lado (Cohn and Duprat, 2009). He also made the score for Gustavo Garzón’s film Por un tiempo.
