Biografie
Born in Tehran in 1955, Alireza Raissian graduated from the Iranian Telivision College and made several shorts before his auspicious feature debut with REYHANEH, shown at the MWFF. He directed THE JOYRNEY (1955) from a script by Abbas Kiarostami. His THE DESERTED STATION (2002) and HAVANA FILE (2006) were also shown at the MWFF.
