Rango (2011)
Too bad I didn't see the film in the original language! Otherwise, of course, the animated fantastical West! Overall it was conceived in a nicely normal way... almost makes me wonder how a child viewer can "chew on" this. And even though perfect animation is nothing exceptional nowadays, here I am truly impressed... and that music... hmmmm. A new take on the animated film.
Money as Debt (2006)
The worst part is that it's true... a fantastically crafted documentary on banking. What is money anyway? That terribly important money? Does it even exist? The fact that you can't live without debt is beyond sad. A clear and simple documentary.
101 dalmatiërs (1961)
They were better, but I devoured the Dalmatians back then and wanted them all in my house... so a matter of the childhood heart.
The Simpsons Movie (2007)
As a Simpsons fan I can't say anything too bad about them... this was divinely Simpsons-esque! Even though the show is still the show, eh?
Verschrikkelijke ikke en de rest kan stikke (2010)
The cuteness of the minions really got to me! Well done, imaginative, touching, and funny. I rate it as a cartoon that is good, amusing, and unique in its own way. Still, we’ve seen better... 3.5 stars.
The Parent Trap (1998)
I almost can't believe Lindsay Lohan was once such a great actress! Really a very excellent family film that I have watched many times and hope to watch again!
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Like someone here said... it's a small and sweet miracle. Beautiful and timeless!
Music and Lyrics (2007)
The plot is basically about nothing, and I can't say the leads are particularly charming either, but the music! 4 stars.
Pour elle (2008)
I'm not really a fan of French movies, but Anything for Her was really good! Before The Next Three Days was released I even took it as a full-fledged movie that deserves at least 4 stars. Now that I've seen The Next Three Days, I have to say that Anything for Her deserves "only" those 4 stars. Great job! Exactly my genre... love, charisma, adrenaline, action, drama...
The Next Three Days (2010)
I am beyond satisfied!!! It was more thought out compared to the subject matter, Anything for Her. The fantastically crafted adrenaline rush and Russell Crowe's desperate look say it all. I'm thrilled that John pulled it off... the plan was really well thought out and believable. Very, very nice!
