MMA king Attila Végh got his metaphorical crown after winning the “fight of the century” in autumn 2019. While the bout only lasted two minutes, preparations for it were way longer. A story about motivation, determination and effort, but also disappointment and perseverance. A story of a champion and his triumph. That is the documentary Attila, the directorial debut of Petr Větrovský. (Febiofest)

Engels An excellent, flawless and extremely emotional documentary. I was afraid (as with most similar films) that the narrative value would be zero, that the story would be boring, but the opposite is true and I am extremely surprised and satisfied. 90% of the film is wrestling and as an audience we see footage of even 10 year old fights we didn't even know about, there is an excellent portrayal of Attila's progression over the years to the fight of the century and the founding of a family. The film delves into family events only minimally, but still effectively and with a quality narrative. Great job by the entire team, because although I was skeptical, I experienced euphoric feelings while watching and simply rooted for Attila. A great documentary for MMA fans and beyond. ()
