Pappa

The film is about rock & roll in at the height of the USSR, where everything from the west was banned and music was marked as propaganda. At the end of the 1960s, Anatoli Abramovitch and his band became huge rock stars in a small, isolated town on a hot, touristy, Crimean coast. The film is also the story of a father and daughter and the art of dealing with life, death, and everything in between. (Uppsala International Short Film Festival)
