A funny story about how Danny loved Irena (Geislerová) and Maria (Elsnerová) at the same time. It's beautiful how all the future faces of Czech film and television are being formed here. In small roles, we have the gossip girls Ježková or Hrachovcová, and the boys are all there - Matonoha, Wehrenberg, and Řezníček.

The second attempt to make a hit with Irena is almost tragic. But Aňa Geislerová as a climber is a delight. However, the romance continues and next up is Irena's sister played by Vilhelmová.

The epilogue with Irena is the perfect end to that one magical season, during which Danny confused many, many girls despite the war. Protectorate youth is a great subject and it was captured here more honestly than anywhere else.
