Bajo las luces de tana

Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world. Women are the most affected by this situation, as they have to deal with the chauvinism that prevails in the Malagasy society, suffering abuse and abandonment by their husbands. Without any type of economic resources, they survive on the streets by doing small jobs, by begging themselves and their children, and in some cases, even by prostituting themselves.
