Edge of Winter isn't a movie that completely blew me away; after all, it has that modern slow pace at the beginning with long shots where it seems like nothing is happening. But then it takes a turn, and towards the end, it gets beautifully crazy, which I found more appealing. It's a shame that the film isn't more balanced and doesn't manage to captivate earlier.
