Iremar werkt in de traditionele rodeo stallen in het Noordoosten van Brazilië waar hij samen met een cowboy te paard een grote stier bij zijn staart probeert te vangen. A nice curiosity, which is based on the rather simple breaking of the macho stereotype, a nice but not dazzling visual and a dull atmosphere, where sewing is actually the same thing as pulling a bull into the sand. Jokes with a masturbating a horse and a textile pregnant fuck are exactly the type of scenes that make a festival, but as a whole a rather forgettable film by an undeniably talented director. #kviff2016

I don't like these movies very much. They're not trying to do anything more than capture interesting human stories or an interesting way of life. It succeeds in that, but the film just doesn't do anything for me. It's good, it's surprisingly well made, but little of this film will stay in my head, although the final sex scene was good.
