Bakemono to onna

Tiger Award winner Ikeda Akira returns with a short film in which a village is terrorised by a monster. The local police investigation seems to be getting nowhere. This idiosyncratic film examines social conventions, interaction and bureaucracy. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
